Nina Yancy First Marshal
Nina is a Social Studies concentrator from Texas who now resides in Quincy House, where she and her blockmates like to relax in their matching penguin onesies. On campus, Nina can usually be found riding her bike between dance rehearsals, probably for CityStep or Expressions. She’s also a big fan of CKS, HBC, PAFing, and Sunday Sundaes. Nina is happy that she’ll be able to get more use out of her rain boots after trading in Boston weather for Oxford weather in grad school next year.
Scott Yim Second Marshal
Scott is a Biomedical Engineering concentrator with a secondary in Global Health & Health Policy living in Quincy House. He grew up in Massachusetts on the border of New Hampshire in what is officially “The City Known as the Town of Methuen.” He balances his love of cheesecake with frequent visits to the gym. In his spare time, he hikes, takes photos, eats his next favorite food (sushi), and pretends he is a certified personal trainer. He loves Quincy HoCo, PAFing, Crimson Key, Expressions, and Harvard’s Men’s Volleyball team!

Julie was lucky enough to grow up in sunny Los Angeles, though she recently moved to NYC, and feels most at home with her fellow penguins in Quincy House! She is concentrating in History of Science with a secondary in English, and one day she might end up in med school. When she’s not helping out with the SCC, Julie loves writing for The Crimson, dancing in Expressions, PAFing in the ‘Nough, advising her Little Penguins in Quincy, and playing a Delta Nu in Legally Blonde The Musical. She also enjoys masala chai and taking pictures of everyone and everything.

Danny is an Environmental Science and Public Policy concentrator from Boca Raton, Florida. Some of his favorite Harvard pastimes include Mather-Yale, Mather Day, and Mather Lather. Outside of Mather, Danny has been involved with the (DP4)UC, EnviroEd, and Crimson Key. Depending on the season, his spirit animal is either a narwhal or a panther.

San Diego, California
Nadia Farjood, raised a sun child in San Diego, swapped coasts and climates to study Government and Neurobiology. If she’s not in Currier dining hall, she can be spotted in PBHA, the HCWC, CGIS, Border Café, or Crema. She enjoys shooting hoops, blog-hopping, beach hikes, the Scholars at Risk program, public service & expression, PAFfing, and Steve Nash’s new haircut. She has a special place in her heart for willow trees, pomegranates and sea cucumbers. To her, ensuring the rights of women and fixing the Green Line constitute major unfinished work of the century.
EJ Blair Marshal
Applied Mathematics & Music
Hailing from the greatest metro in the country, EJ was born and will forever live in the Atlanta area. When not involved in racial relations or education issues on campus, he can be found somewhere along the river catching up with 2013 classmates. He most looks forward to senior bars and finishing up his Applied Mathematics concentration. Upon graduation, he will be taking his talents to the whiteboard, teaching math and developing his interests in education and public policy.

Margot is a History and Literature concentrator from Johannesburg, in sunny South Africa. When she is not working in Eliot dhall, she enjoys a casual jog along the Charles, bonding with her PAFees, climbing mountains with FOP, and playing paparazzi with her camera. Next year she hopes to do lots of traveling, ending up in South Africa to do something cool.

Arturo (or Art) is an Environmental Science & Public Policy concentrator living in the House of Lowell. Hailing from the Great Nation of Texas, Arturo is part of HCFA, the Harvard Varsity Lightweight team, Hahvahd Tours (now Trademark Tours), and the Texas Club of Harvard. Arturo enjoys running, reading up on Olympic game history, doing homework in every one of the 12 dhalls, jumping off Weeks, taking 15 minute naps, and making sure the Harvard Class of 2013 will have a rocking senior year.
Emily Rutter Adams House
Buffalo, New York
Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Emily is a psychology concentrator and proud resident of Adams House. When she’s not thesising or cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, she can be found in Adams dining hall with the rest of the Harvard community. Emily enjoys Irish dancing with Corcairdhearg, PAFing in Wigg, going Greek with Theta, marketing for the Harvard Crimson, and planning events for the school. In her free time, she loves exploring Cambridge and having spontaneous dance parties with friends.
Andrea Hendricks Cabot House

Andrea is originally from Lakeland, Florida and currently lives in Cabot House. She studies Molecular and Cellular Biology and plans to spend a year traveling or working and then go to medical school. Besides being involved with the Senior Class Committee, she is on the board of the charity fashion show Eleganza and the Isis Club. She also mentors elementary school students in Allston and works a tutor for Veritas Tutoring.
Rachel Bervell Currier House
Neuroscience & Global Health/Health Policy
A proud Pacific Northwester, Rachel has found her second home in Currier House, fittingly embracing the mascot of the tree. On campus, she’s been involved in PBHA, the UC, and FUP; gives tours with CKS and the admissions office; and centers the bulk of her activities on health, babies, and women whether its on the board of ABHW, the WLP, the March of Dimes, or co-founding the Harvard Wellness Conference. Upon graduation, she will take her west coast swag with Ghanaian flair into the field of medicine as she works towards becoming a physician. When she’s not busy, she can be found being a foodie, jamming to her Laurynn Hill or Amy Winehouse Pandora station, laughing with friends, or enjoying the day with a smile on her face.
Alissa Changala Dunster House
Alissa is a proud Southern Californian studying Government with a secondary in Environmental Science and Public Policy. A senior who quite frequently gets asked if she’s a freshman, Alissa loves all things having to do with sunshine, the ocean, and being outdoors. You can find Alissa (most likely wearing sandals and shorts) in the White Mountains with FOP, on the volleyball court, leading campus tours, proudly sporting Dunster House swag, or in one of the Square’s six ice cream shops. She’s ecstatic to join the 2013 TFA Corps as a high school social science teacher in Los Angeles!

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Kidus hails from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and is an Applied Mathematics concentrator. Throughout his time at Harvard, he has been passionate about giving back to groups on campus that have supported him through his leadership in the Harvard African Students’ Association, the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College and Woodbridge International Society. Kidus loves playing Mafia as well as jamming out to pop music of the African and American kind.

Robert is a Human Evolutionary Biology concentrator from the tropical island paradise of Honolulu, Hawaii. You can easily spot him around campus wearing a Hawaii t-shirt and boardshorts, still in denial that it is not summer year around. He is an avid runner, sports enthusiast, and proud resident of the one and only Kirkland House.
Tunc Kiymaz Leverett House
Tunc is a Biomedical Engineering concentrator in Leverett House. He is originally from Turkey and now resides in Orlando, Florida. An avid sports nut, he has played tennis all his life and enjoys playing and watching basketball, soccer, and hockey in his free time. After graduation, he hopes to go to medical school and become a physician.
Gabby Malatesta Mather House
Gabby is a History concentrator living in Mather House. Originally from Nahant, Massachusetts, she grew up with a love of the beach and of golf. In her time at Harvard, Gabby has been involved with Mather’s House Council, the Harvard Foundation’s Sustained Dialogue, the College Events Board, and the Harvard Cheerleading team. When not in Mather’s dining hall, she enjoys lattes from Petsi Pies, supporting the Harvard Crimson at sporting events, escaping to Boston, and singing “Our House” at Mather Happy Hours.

Christine is an Economics concentrator with a secondary in Folklore and Mythology. Outside of her devotion to quad mischief (especially beloved Pfoho), she spends most of her time on the Charles as a lightweight rower on Harvard-Radcliffe Women’s Crew. Christine’s passions include cooking, traveling, fitness, fashion, and ice hockey. She especially loves people and fun, new experiences!

Rebecca is a Human Evolutionary Biology concentrator with a Chinese citation from Swampscott, MA. A proud penguin in Quincy House, she spends her time at Harvard as a PAF, Irish Dancing, and cooking with the Culinary Society. She loves traveling and all things China (especially the food)!
Lauren Tiedemann Winthrop House
Lauren is a history concentrator, focusing on Medieval England, with a secondary in archaeology. Originally from Melrose, MA, Lauren took a gap year to study cooking and art history in Italy before coming to Harvard. After graduation, Lauren ultimately plans to move to England to pursue a MPhil in archaeology and then work for a museum, either as a curator or event planner. In the meantime, however, Lauren intends to work in Boston for a year or two to figure out exactly what she’d like to do. At Harvard, Lauren has dedicated much of her time to serving as Winthrop HoCo co-chair. When not planning events, Lauren enjoys baking and drinking wine.

Francis is an Economics concentrator in Adams House. He is originally from Bethesda, MD, just outside of the nation’s capital. Francis has enjoyed being a part of the SAA, SAMC, the Crimson, and various other groups. Francis can be found wandering around Adams or Currier, making him readily accessible to both quadlings and river folk. He’s pumped to serve the class as Secretary and is always looking to meet more folks in 2013.

Pratyusha Yalamanchi is a Human Evolutionary Biology concentrator with a secondary in Visual and Environmental Studies. Originally from Detroit, Pratyusha now lives in Dunster dining hall, where she can be found successfully procrastinating on her thesis and/or consuming late night noms. When she isn’t in lab or studio, Pratyusha is a groupie of acronyms like the UC, PBHA, and the PAF program. She hopes to postpone life in the real world by spending the next four years accumulating student loans in medical school.

Hailing from bright and sunny California, Liora is an Applied Mathematics concentrator residing in Quincy House. Liora is an absolute tech geek and loves working with startups, tech companies, and in Venture Capital. A former Google intern and Associate VC, you can catch her working with her favorite Silicon Beach companies in her spare time. She’s also an active member of the Leadership Institute and supervisor for the Ec 10 Unit Tests.
Schuyler Milender Mather House
Schuyler is a psychology concentrator with a government secondary living in Mather House. She is originally from Foxboro, MA, the hometown of the New England Patriots, where she spent her days feigning an interest in football. Schuyler enjoys eating excessive amounts of sushi, watching Law & Order: SVU, and traveling. Her best times at Harvard have been spent PAFing, taking hip hop at the Mac, reppin KKG, and traveling to Uganda through Harvard’s Global Hunger Initiative.
Lillian Kivel Pforzheimer House
Lillian is a Social Anthropology concentrator living in the pfabulous Pfoho (#quadlife). Originally from the Boston suburb of Natick, she spends her time on campus dancing as part of the South Asian Dance Company, advising first-year students of Thayer one, and working at the admissions office. Lillian loves Chinese food and can frequently be found visiting her favorite cities of Chengdu, Shanghai, and Beijing.
Gresa Matoshi Mather House

Gresa Matoshi is a Social Studies concentrator and a proud resident of Mather House. She is originally from Kosovo but has resided in New York City with for almost fourteen years. On campus, Gresa is involved with Circle of Women, the Admissions Office as a tour guide, the IOP Citizenship Tutoring Program, and the Social Studies Department as a Peer Concentration Tutor and class rep. After graduating, she will be working in NYC.
Catie Williams Quincy House

Originally hailing from Sunny Southern California, Catie Williams is happy to call Quincy House her Harvard home. Catie concentrates in Social Studies (with a focus field of Politics and Economics in the United States) and has lofty ambitions to go into political communications when she grows up. In her free time at Harvard, she has loved singing with the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum and the Radcliffe Pitches.

Danni is an Economics concentrator with a secondary in Psychology living in Kirkland House. Originally from Southern California, she misses the sun, the beach, and fresh fruit smoothies. She enjoys taking photos and exploring new cuisines. After graduating, Danni will be returning to the West Coast to work in tech marketing.
